BlueCat Networks Awarded GSA Schedule Contract

Roster of Products Available Include IPv6 Appliances for IPAM, DNS and DHCP

WASHINGTON, DC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 05/14/07 -- BlueCat Networks, leading developer of IPv6 IPAM, DNS and DHCP Appliances, today announced that its Adonis and Proteus network appliances are now listed on the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) schedule under contract number GS-35F-0415T.

BlueCat Networks' appliances have already been deployed across many government and military agency networks, including the Pentagon, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), United States Navy (USN) and the United States Air Force (USAF). However, with a GSA schedule contract in place these organizations can now take advantage of volume discount pricing. In addition, products on the GSA schedule are pre-verified and authorized by the government for deployment, thereby eliminating the need for further reference and product checks prior to purchase.

"Our network management appliances have been tailored to meet the performance and security regulations mandated by the US government," said Michael Hyatt, CEO of BlueCat Networks. "Making them available through the GSA schedule will make it faster and easier for new and existing government customers to acquire our appliances, and implement them as core elements of their DNS, DHCP, IPv4 and IPv6 multi-mode networks."

Under the GSA Schedules (also referred to as Multiple Award Schedules and Federal Supply Schedules) Program, GSA establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to over 10 million commercial supplies and services that can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors or through the GSA Advantage!® online shopping and ordering system. More information on the U.S. General Services Administration is available at www.gsa.gov.
